The Acute Oncology Service (AOS) serves adult patients diagnosed with cancer (solid tumour) who present with acute problems related to their cancer treatment or as a consequence of the disease itself.
Presentations may be varied and complex and our objective is to ensure timely intervention, contribute to management plans and in doing so improve the patient experience. AOS also manages the MUO and CUP service and supports new diagnoses, including new brain tumours.
