Cancer Services have specialist teams to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and support for cancer patients, their families and carers.
The services below are offered by East Cheshire NHS Trust and is located in The Christie at Macclesfield District General Hospital.
The centre operates a coordinated, multi-agency approach to the support of cancer patients, providing specialist cancer services in a confidential, friendly, supporting and informal environment. This includes;
- Macmillan Support and Information Service
- Oncology Outpatient Clinics
- Chemotherapy treatment suite
- Oncology Research Team
- Radiotherapy treatments
The Macmillan Cancer Support website www.macmillan.org.uk provides specialist advice to patients with cancer, and those who care for them. Our aim is to optimise the quality of life and we will endeavour to address individual concerns, whatever they may be.
The free Macmillan Support Line on 0808 808 00 00 is open 7 days a week, 8:00am to 8:00pm.
