Cancer Services

Cancer Services have specialist teams to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and support for cancer patients, their families and carers.

The services below are offered by East Cheshire NHS Trust at Macclesfield District General Hospital.  

The Trust operates a coordinated, multi-disciplinary team approach to the support of cancer patients, providing specialist cancer services in a confidential, friendly, supporting and informal environment. This includes:

• Macmillan Support and Information Service

• Palliative Care

• Breast Surgery

• Colorectal Cancer

• Lung Cancer

• Upper GI (Gastrointestinal) Cancer Team

• Urology Cancer Team

• Acute Oncology Team

• Gynaecology Cancer
