The Orthoptic department specialises in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of strabismus/squint, binocular vision, ocular motility, double vision and childhood visual problems.
At Macclesfield this service is provided by 4 Orthoptists working as part of the Ophthalmology team and also receiving direct referrals.
