Hello, I am Chloe Roberts and I am the Infant Feeding Coordinator at Macclesfield Hospital. I have been a midwife for nine years and have always had an interest and passion for infant feeding. Over the past five years I have worked as an Infant Feeding Midwife in a central London hospital and in my last role I was working as a Postnatal Lead Midwife, where I was a link midwife to the Infant Feeding Team within the Trust.
I am proud to be part of such a wonderful team at Macclesfield and I am excited to be able to support our women’s feeding journeys. I provide ongoing training and support to our maternity team to enable us to support all parents to make an informed decision about how they wish to feed their baby, ensuring you feel encouraged and supported in your chosen method of feeding.
Following the reinstatement of our maternity services we are now working towards gaining our UNICEF Baby Friendly Accreditation. The implementation of this accreditation recognises our commitment to ensuring we are meeting best standards in our knowledge and practice to support infant feeding and relationship building for the families in our care.
I look forward to meeting you within my role and also during my shifts within the community.
