Our Parent Education classes include a bundle of three sessions - ideal to attend between 32-36 weeks gestation. They are held at accessible venues within East Cheshire including Macclesfield, Wilmslow & Congleton.

The first session, covers information around the intrapartum period - birth plans, signs of labour, pain relief options, partner's role, vaginal deliveries, caesarean section deliveries, interventions/emergencies & what to take to hospital.

The second session covers information around the postnatal period, including recovery, newborn baby cares, partner's role, tiredness, emotions & mental health, signs of unwell mum/baby, who will visit at home & resources for support.

The third sessions includes information around relationship building and infant feeding, discussing both breast & bottle feeding & where to find support.

In addition to this, we also have a stand alone 'early' antenatal class - ideal to attend between 16-20 weeks including information about baby's development, baby's movements, things to look out for, partner's role, emotional changes, smoking & alcohol in pregnancy, vaccinations in pregnancy, work related issues.

You can book your place by clicking the button above and we encourage you to bring along someone to support, whether this is a partner, baby's father, family member or friend.
